Enjoy the people, then discover their work
A small moment → colleagues teasing one another → one useful shipping detail. Lao Xie supplies real cases about goods and routes.
A polite phrase, taken literally
Chidi records the meeting literally. Lao Zhou’s polite promises land on paper. “Dinner another day” needs an actual date; Amaka joins in, and Friday is finally agreed.

Has the cargo arrived?
One interview question. One shipping lesson. Then the boss gets tested.
Xiao Wu mistakes port arrival for cargo ready to collect. Chidi questions him. Lao Zhou corrects him, then sends his own client “Arrived”. He slides the phone to Xiao Wu: “You are hired. You answer this one.”

A different guest candidate each episode; Xiao Wu appears in this pilot. One question, one shipping lesson, with the boss delivering the punchline.
People arrive at work. Cargo arrives at port.
One office listening exercise. A colleague and a client hear entirely different things.
During Chinese practice, Chidi hears “the worker arrived”; client Amaka hears “the cargo arrived”. Both answers fit the sound. Lao Zhou becomes the student—and must explain that port arrival is not cargo in hand.

Perfect teamwork. For one pen.
Always out of sync at work. Perfectly in sync when they want the same pen.
Lao Zhou and Chidi try to clear the desk. One counts up, the other down; every helpful move makes more mess. Then the good pen rolls between them. Two hands reach together. Neither lets go.

Are we accepting this gift?
Both are trying to be considerate. Neither can finish giving the gift.
Lao Zhou brings a thank-you gift. Chidi follows his new Chinese politeness notes, returning the box again and again. Even “no need to thank me” makes him hesitate. At last he pins the notes onto the lid: the gift stays.

The folding phone did not impress him
Who gets surprised? Take turns.
Back from a trip, Lao Zhou wants his folding phone to impress Chidi. It does not. Unpacking a domestic parcel finally gets Chidi’s attention. Then Chidi shares a story about matching fabric at a wedding, and Lao Zhou is the surprised one. He opens the phone to take a photo. Chidi grins: finally, a use.

Recognise the people. Find them when shipping is needed.

Office life, cultural misunderstandings and language reversals invite a broad audience to watch, share and remember the cast.
“Lao Xie China–Nigeria Logistics | Two-way China–Nigeria shipping.” State the route and contact details, with a pinned introduction explaining how to enquire.
Guide shipping questions from comments to the profile or private messages. A named contact follows up on cargo, route and shipping plans.
For Lao Xie, the useful outcome is qualified shipper and agent enquiries. Broad reach builds recognition; a clear contact path helps people find the team when a need appears.
A four-week trial, three posts a week
Nine character stories + three with light business context. The first three are included in the 12; review them before continuing with the remaining nine.
Start with notes, the pen and the interview. Review the characters, timing and business wording before continuing.
Try life between cultures, a business mix-up and mutual surprises. See what people discuss.
Three character stories. Continue the relationships people enjoy, discuss and share.
Two character stories plus one with light business context. Review favourite series and real shipping questions to choose next month’s focus.
After four weeks, review audience feedback, profile visits and shipping enquiries together, then decide whether to continue monthly.
Start with three pilots. Bring the characters to life.
Confirm three concepts, scripts and storyboards; test character consistency, voice and performance; deliver three Chinese-language films with covers and title suggestions, then revise consolidated feedback.
Continue with scripts, finished films and release suggestions. Lao Xie reviews business wording and supplies publishable cases and on-site material. Record shipper and agent enquiries separately.
Review content feedback and business conversations at month-end to shape the next month. English versions and platform expansion follow the agreed scope.
We handle planning, scripts, character and visual production, editing and content reviews. Lao Xie handles business review, suitable source material and enquiry follow-up.
Use existing publishable warehouse, cargo and office photos or clips, plus anonymised cases, supplied together by one contact. Build missing scenes with AI; staff do not pause work to perform or arrange a dedicated shoot. Hide client details, documents and cargo identifiers.
No jokes about accents, skin colour or customs. Both sides get to win. Lao Xie reviews business wording. Fictional characters use no employee likenesses; real-person material appears only with Lao Xie’s agreement.
Start with a small batch, then decide on monthly work
First batch of the four-week trial: notes, the pen and the interview. Includes scripts, storyboards, Chinese films, covers, titles and one consolidated revision.
12 films including the first three; three per week. Review the pilots before continuing, then review results at month-end. The quotation will state how the pilot fee applies to the full trial.
Proposed 12 films per month: scripts, films, covers, titles and a monthly review. Agree languages, platforms and revision scope before starting.
Suggested Lao Xie input: reserve about one hour a week to review wording and films. Name one contact to gather materials and handle enquiries. Confirm routes, real cases and private information before production. Supply materials together, without shadowing daily operations.
Make the first three. Then decide how to grow.
Suggested pilots: just take a few notes, the pen, and Lao Zhou’s interview room. Test literal notes, physical comedy and business storytelling.
Confirm the first three stories and the pilot quote, name the business reviewer and enquiry contact, and supply publishable materials, routes and real cases to begin the four-week plan.
When people think of that China–Africa logistics team, let them think of Lao Xie.

An alternative story for later
Same character. Another pronunciation?
The harder the student tries, the harder it gets for the teacher to leave.
Chidi wants to record one vocabulary card. Every casual remark from Lao Zhou introduces another pronunciation of “de”. Three cards return to the teacher, who now needs context too. Chidi records his answer—and finally finishes the assignment.
